Role Overview

As a Checkout Experience Associate, you are the final touchpoint in a guest’s shopping journey. Your role is to ensure a seamless, friendly, and professional checkout experience while also supporting light merchandising tasks when needed. We’re looking for individuals who bring warmth, attention to detail, and a commitment to great service.

Key Responsibilities

Checkout Experience:

  • Welcome every customer with a positive and approachable attitude

  • Efficiently and accurately process purchases using our POS system

  • Handle cash, credit, and contactless payments with precision

  • Maintain a tidy, well-stocked, and organized checkout area

  • Answer questions about products and guide customers to store locations when needed

  • Follow all store policies regarding returns, exchanges, and transactions

Support & Merchandising:

  • Assist with stocking impulse items and small displays near checkout

  • Help with light restocking and organizing of high-traffic areas when appropriate

  • Report inventory or guest concerns to store leadership

General Expectations:

  • Maintain store cleanliness and contribute to team-wide upkeep tasks

  • Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and health protocols

  • Lift up to 45 lbs and stand for extended periods when necessary

  • Work independently while also collaborating across departments

  • Be flexible and willing to assist wherever needed

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Friendly, calm, and confident in fast-paced environments

  • Previous cashier or customer-facing experience preferred

  • Ability to multitask and stay organized

  • Enthusiastic about wellness, food, and helping people

  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
