Role: Chef de Cuisine
Organization: Luxury Hotel – New Restaurant Outlet (Confidential)
Compensation: $80K–$110K plus PTO and leading benefits
Timeline: Immediate

We are searching for a Chef de Cuisine to lead the opening team of a brand-new, high-end restaurant concept within a luxury hotel in Washington, DC. This role requires a chef with exceptional culinary talent, strong leadership abilities, and experience in upscale or fine dining environments. The ideal candidate will be a progressive, inspirational leader who can guide, motivate, and mentor a team with empathy, enthusiasm, and professionalism.

This role includes significant creative responsibility, including developing and executing seasonal menu changes in collaboration with hotel leadership. The CDC will also be accountable for maintaining operational excellence, managing food and labor costs, and ensuring that all culinary and safety standards are met at the highest level.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • At least 3 years of BOH management experience in relevant upscale or fine dining environments

  • Guest-centric philosophy and a genuine desire to create memorable dining experiences

  • Strong leadership skills with proven experience coaching and developing teams

  • Highly organized, detail-driven, and consistent in execution

  • Strong proficiency in food costing, P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting

  • Ability to build and implement SOPs and kitchen manuals

  • Exceptional cooking abilities with a track record of executing at a high level

  • Positive attitude and strong mentoring abilities

  • Experience managing culinary teams of 20+ employees

Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($90,000.00 – $110,000.00)
