Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and visionary Chef de Cuisine to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate is both a hands-on chef and an inspiring mentor — someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, brings exceptional organization to high-volume event production, and consistently delivers excellence on the plate.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all kitchen operations, including menu development, production, and plating for off-site events and tastings.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Creative Director to design seasonal menus aligned with Maison Tara’s brand and clientele.
Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and respect.
Manage food costing, inventory, and vendor relationships to ensure quality and efficiency.
Maintain rigorous standards of food safety, cleanliness, and presentation.
Execute events both in-house and off-site, ensuring seamless coordination with the service and logistics teams.
Continuously innovate — bringing new ideas, techniques, and inspiration to the table.
Minimum 5 years of professional culinary experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
Background in fine dining or high-end catering required.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Deep understanding of seasonal and sustainable sourcing.
Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing event demands.
Culinary degree preferred, but not required with equivalent experience.
