What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead reimbursement strategy and MDS oversight across several states and payer systems.
- Provide expert-level audit and consulting support to on-site MDS and clinical teams.
- Stay ahead of CMS, PDPM, and Medicaid updates, then turn complex regulations into clear, actionable guidance.
- Partner with operations, finance, and quality teams to drive rate optimization and maintain airtight compliance.
- Mentor and develop MDS Coordinators to strengthen documentation integrity and elevate outcomes.
- Travel frequently to facilities within the organization’s regional network (expect regular monthly travel).
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of MDS/RAI experience in skilled nursing - multi-state experience is a big plus.
- Deep knowledge of PDPM, quality-based reimbursement, and managed care strategies.
- Strong analytical and leadership skills - you’re just as comfortable diving into data as you are leading a team.
- Active RN license (or equivalent clinical credential).
- A collaborative mindset and passion for developing others.
