Veterans Health Administration (Eastern Kansas Healthcare System) is actively seeking an excellent Emergency Medicine Chief physician to join our established program in Leavenworth Kansas. Position highlights: High-complexity VA Medical Center with Surgery, Radiology, Cardiology and Mental Health services in house. Access to Clinical Pharmacists onsite and bedside ultrasound available High-performing, high-quality, patient-focused team Opportunity for teaching and academic appointment Approximate volume: 41,500 annual visits from Veterans utilizing their earned benefits Monday-Friday shift No employment contracts or significant outside work restrictions Located in vibrant and affordable Leavenworth, Kansas Qualifications: MD or DO degree Completion of ACGME accredited Emergency Medicine residency BC American Board of Emergency Medicine Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.
