West River Health Services, a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in southwest North Dakota, is currently seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to help lead our organization through continued innovation and growth.

Critical Access Hospital Profile

The organization's corporate structure is comprised of three 501C3 (not-for-profit) corporations. WRHSF is the Foundation/ fundraising and Parent Corporation. WRHS is a healthcare services (hospital, clinics, and other healthcare services) corporation. Western Horizons Living Centers is a care center (skilled and assisted living) corporation. Each corporation has board members from across the geographic area served by the organization. Education:      A Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing is required. A Master’s in Healthcare or Business Administration or equivalent is preferred.        

Experience:    Minimum of 5 years in acute care setting with 2 years of management or supervisory experience. Former Chief Nursing Officer Experience Preferred.

Licensure Requirements:   Registered Nurse - Meets requirements per ND Century Code 43-12.1.
