Child and Adolescent Therapist at Southside Community Health Services
Job Description
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy to children (ideally 3-12 years old) and adolescents.
• Utilize evidence-based practices, including trauma-informed care and culturally specific approaches.
• Collaborate with primary care providers, school personnel, and other community supports as part of integrated care.
• Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of referral resources throughout the service area.
• Consult with Behavioral Health Director as necessary and appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely records, including clinical progress notes, in compliance with clinic policy. Complete diagnostic assessment by 4th visit and treatment plan by 6th visit.
• Support program development, including groups or specialty programming (e.g., parenting support, skill-building, school-based services).
