Child and Teen Therapist at Rising Lotus Therapy Center

This Therapist is responsible for providing therapy to children, adolescents and their families. 

Rising Lotus is a boutique private practice that offers holistic mental health services for the whole family, based on the latest research in Neuroscience & Child Development. Grounded in Relational Neuroscience, we understand that healing occurs within relationships and we emphasize the importance of relationships as a vital mechanism for change in a non-judgmental, strength-based environment. Our Specialties Include Play Therapy, Teen Therapy, Therapy for Child & Teen Trauma, and Neurodiversity-Affirming Care. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Clinician shall possess and maintain a current license (LCSW, LMHC or LMFT), as well as:

·      Two years’ experience working with children and teens in a mental health outpatient setting

·      Experience utilizing Play Therapy with children and their caregivers [RPT preferred]

·      Experience utilizing modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc.  

·      Experience providing or a strong desire to provide Neurodiversity-Affirming care

·      Ability to provide both in-person and virtual services

Expectations of the Ideal Candidate:

• Clinician is responsible for completing any and all documentation pursuant to the requirements of the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and/or Mental Health Counseling, as applicable.
• Clinician will follow company guidelines regarding policies, procedures and payment for services.

• Clinician will provide services as a member of Rising Lotus and may benefit from marketing individual services in order to promote client development.

• It is important that clinician have experience working with children and teens and is passionate about providing Neuro-Affirming Care to Neurodivergent clients and their families.
