Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Clinical Dietitian Nutrition II to provide comprehensive nutritional care across inpatient and outpatient units, including ICU and PICU. The role involves assessing patient needs, developing and implementing nutrition care plans, educating patients and families, and collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize nutrition outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and monitor patient nutrition care.
- Modify diet orders and recommend enteral feedings or supplements.
- Conduct nutrition screenings and risk assessments.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and provide cross-coverage as needed.
- Coordinate discharge nutrition plans and referrals to other services.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2–4 years in clinical nutrition (oncology preferred).
- Education: Bachelor’s in Nutrition & Dietetics (Master’s preferred).
- Licensure: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN within 12 months in NY).
- Skills: Strong communication, assessment, and decision-making abilities; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
