Additional Information About the Role 4400 Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit (SICU) is located on South Campus on the 4th floor and easily accessed from the Central Elevators. 44ICU is a 36-bed unit designed to provide excellent care for critically ill patients from the operating room directly after surgery, from the emergency department, or from the in-patient care divisions. The multi-professional team of experts who provide care during the ICU stay are house physicians, nurses, advanced practice nurses, respiratory therapists, patient care technicians, pharmacists, dieticians, social workers, physical therapy, clinical researchers, occupational therapy and pastoral care.
