Job Overview
We are seeking hands-on, detail-oriented CNC Mill/Lathe Operators to join a growing precision manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate a variety of CNC machines to produce precision components for a range of industries. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, values safety, and enjoys working in a team-oriented production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce high-quality, precision parts according to blueprints and specifications.
- Perform tool offsets, work origin adjustments, and minor program edits as needed.
- Conduct routine in-process inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor tooling conditions and proactively replace or adjust tools to maintain performance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and assist with preventive maintenance tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols and actively contribute to a safe, compliant work environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production status, quality concerns, and process improvements.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required (per Department of Defense regulations).
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with CNC machinery.
- Positive attitude and a team-first mindset that supports a collaborative culture.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as experience grows.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills to ensure quality outcomes.
- Familiarity with metrology tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) preferred but not required.
