We are currently looking for an experienced CNC Machinist. Position Responsibilities: Perform setups and specify tooling for vertical and horizontal machining centers. Work solely from drawings/blueprints to produce quality parts. Inspect machined parts using various types of mechanical inspection tools such as micrometers, dial calipers, pin gages, thread gages, Tessa height, and optical comparator. Responsible for accurate record keeping and timely submission of work documents to production planning. Experience/Qualifications: High School or equivalent; technical/vocational school diploma highly preferred Minimum 3 years of experience setting up and operating vertical and horizontal machining centers Manual machining experience Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents Strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred Skills: Forklift operation Basic computer skills Physical Requirements: This position is active and requires standing, walking , bending, stooping all day. Ability to lift 50 pounds on an occasional basis. Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:45am to 3:15pm- Overtime as available.
