Job Title: CNC Operator
Job Description

As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for running the CNC machine according to the programmed instructions. You will monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal operation. In this role, you'll perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools to verify part dimensions and quality. You will also load raw materials onto the machine, select and install the correct cutting tools and fixtures based on the part design, and ensure workpieces are aligned and clamped accurately. Additionally, you will perform machine calibration and testing before starting production.

Responsibilities

  • Run CNC machine following programmed instructions.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
  • Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.
  • Load raw materials onto the machine.
  • Select and install correct cutting tools and fixtures.
  • Align and clamp workpieces accurately.
  • Perform machine calibration and testing before production.
Essential Skills
  • Proficient in operating CNC machines.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Experience in machining processes.
  • Skilled in using calipers for measurement.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in monitoring processes and ensuring quality.

Work Environment

You will work in a climate-controlled, well-lit, and very quiet shop. The position is for the 3rd shift, which runs from 10 PM to 6 AM, Sunday through Thursday, and includes a $2 shift premium.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of West Allis, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
