About the Role

Standard Machine Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer with hands-on experience using MasterCAM software to join our team. In this role, you will create, review, and optimize CNC programs that drive precision manufacturing operations. You will collaborate closely with machinists to ensure programs are accurate, efficient, and aligned with production requirements.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and optimize CNC programs using MasterCAM software.
• Read and verify programs for accuracy, identifying and correcting any errors before release.
• Review programs with machinists to ensure alignment with production requirements.
• Maintain and organize files for proven and repeat-use programs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by refining programming processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of CNC programming experience.
• Software Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience with MasterCAM software (required).
• Education: Associate degree in manufacturing technology, machining, or related field (preferred).
• Strong understanding of G-code, machining processes, and tooling.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
