                                Job Posting: Collections Specialist (Remote)
*Division:* Customer Support*Company:* TEKsystems, Inc.*Placement Type:* Contract to Hire*Location:* 100% Remote*Pay Range:* $20.00-$23.00/hr*Duration:* 2-Year Assignment (Evaluated for permanent hire every 6 months)*Schedule:* 40 hours/week between 7am-7pm CST, Monday-Saturday*Start Date:* November 17, 2025*Interview Date:* November 3, 2025*Hiring Manager:* Simon Fessahye
Position Overview Join a Fortune 100 company-one of San Antonio's most desirable employers-as a Collections Specialist. This is a remote opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping members resolve delinquent accounts while delivering exceptional service and financial education.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle inbound and outbound automated calls to secure payments on delinquent accounts
* Make manual outbound calls to responsible parties to resolve outstanding balances
* Apply critical thinking to improve member experience and streamline processes
* Interpret financial information and offer tailored solutions to members
* Educate members on Credit Counseling Agencies vs. Debt Settlement companies
* Embrace coaching and feedback to continuously improve performance
* Encourage and support teammates with positive reinforcement
Required Skills & Experience
* 2+ years in collections or call center environments
* 2+ years handling inbound phone calls
* Comfortable initiating outbound calls
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-Have Skills
* Sales experience
* Financial services or charge-off background
* 3rd party collections experience
* Consumer debt knowledge (auto loans, credit cards, etc.)
