Commercial Apprentice Electrician at 10X Workforce

Job description:

We are currently looking for a apprentice to intermediate level Electrician to join our team. Electrician will work Under the supervision of a foreman. Scope of work underground roughin, shell building rough in, tenant buildout. Proficiency in reading blueprints and adhering to NEC standards is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Job duties include underground PVC rough-in for utility transformers, plaza electrical service, and site lighting. Then, we will progress to interior rough-in, which is mostly MC, lighting, and basic electrical.
• Interpret and follow electrical blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Utilize power tools and testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters to assess electrical systems.
• Ensure all work meets National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems efficiently and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate closely with construction teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall building plans.
• Work with low voltage systems and possess knowledge of different types of logic controllers.

Experience:

• Proven experience as an Electrician.
• Familiarity with a wide range of power tools commonly used in the trade.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time.
• Experience in renovating existing electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading is required.
