Job Description
We are seeking a skilled electrician with 4-5 years of recent experience in commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have expertise in pulling and running wire for new commercial construction, installing and bending conduit up to 2 inches, and maintaining electrical equipment and wiring.
Pay: 20-27/hr depending on experience
Shift: 7am to 3:30pm
Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Upgrade existing wiring and install or replace fuse boxes.
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute electrical tasks.
- Install new lighting systems and inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and ensure compliance with codes.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Ensure compatibility and safety of the system by performing regular tests.
- Use basic hand tools; a cordless drill is a plus.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including a hard hat, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots.
Essential Skills
- 4-5 years of experience as a commercial electrician.
- Proficiency in running rigid pipe and conduit bending.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience with electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
- Competence in using testing devices like ohmmeters and voltmeters.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with PVC and steel or carbon metal pipes.
- Ability to run and bend pipe using a pipe bender.
- Possession of reliable transportation.

Work Environment
You will be performing the electrical scope of work on a new construction commercial jobsite. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm, totaling 40 hours a week. Contractors must wear appropriate attire including jeans and a t-shirt (no logos of other electrical contractors), and be comfortable working at heights. All necessary electrical tools and PPE must be brought by the contractor.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
