With a large client base across South Florida, we have several open positions available for skilled Commercial Electricians to work on projects in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and surrounding areas.
Position Overview: We are seeking experienced Commercial Electricians - Helpers and Mechanics to join our team for a project in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This is an excellent opportunity to work with reputable clients on long-term projects. The ideal candidates will have strong mechanical skills, the ability to read blueprints, and experience in commercial electrical work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
- Test and diagnose electrical systems, troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Bend and install conduit and pull wire efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure full PPE is worn, including a harness.
- Work collaboratively with a team and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Mechanics: 3+ years of commercial electrical experience.
- Helpers: 1+ years of commercial electrical experience.
- Strong mechanical skills and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Must have reliable transportation and own power/hand tools.
- Full PPE required, including a harness.
- Ability to work a full 40-hour workweek from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Compensation:
Pay is dependent on experience: $22-$30 per hour.
