Job Summary:
The Commercial Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings. This includes wiring, lighting, circuit breakers, and other electrical components to ensure safe and efficient operation. The role requires compliance with national and local electrical codes, troubleshooting electrical issues, and collaborating with other contractors or team members to complete projects on time.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 Per Hour

Schedule:

  • Full time position | Monday – Friday
  • Overtime opportunities available

Work Location:

  • Based in Kentucky – with a requirement to travel throughout Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial properties.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnosing faults and implementing repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as engineers and contractors.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on existing electrical systems.
  • Test electrical systems to ensure proper operation and identify potential hazards.

Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in the electrical field
  • Willing and able to travel frequently throughout KY, OH, and IN
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation
  • Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations
