Commercial Electricians at Skillforce

• Install wiring, lighting, circuit breakers, outlets, and electrical panels in commercial buildings

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation

• Follow local, state, and national electrical codes (e.g., NEC) and job site safety regulations

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams

• Coordinate with general contractors and other trades (HVAC, plumbing, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution

• Install LED lighting systems, energy management systems, and other efficiency-focused solutions

• Test systems using voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to ensure functionality and safety

• Upgrade outdated electrical systems to meet current code requirements

• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in proper working condition

• Use appropriate PPE and follow all OSHA and company safety standards

• 5+ years of experience in commercial electrical construction

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

• Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

• Must have basic hand tools and PPE

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred

• Competitive pay: $28–$35/hr (D.O.E.)
