Commercial Journeyman Electrician at Tradeco of Chicago

URGENT need for a Journeyman Electrician local to the Knoxville, TN area.

This is a desirable, Direct-Hire opportunity if you have a background in Commercial New Construction.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years on-the-job experience in new commercial construction
• Knowledge of the current National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes
• Ability to understand and install off of blueprints and specifications that are job specific
• The desire to ultimately move to a Lead or Foreman role (if you have led a crew in the past this is a promotable opportunity)
• A professional approach, able to represent the company positively to customers, vendors, and the public
• Appropriate certifications (OSHA- company can provide) and valid driver's license
• Willingness to pass a background check and drug test

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold a safe work environment by strictly following company and OSHA safety guidelines; promptly report any violations to immediate supervisor - the Foreman.
• Install electrical wiring and systems for commercial and multifamily projects, which includes pipe bending, wire pulling, and conduit running, outlets, switches, lighting, etc.
• Utilize various electrical tools, ladders, scaffolding, and lifts safely
