Commercial Lending Associate Attorney at Jaspan Schlesinger Narendran LLP

Full-service law firm seeks a highly motivated and skilled associate attorney admitted in New York with 1 to 3 years of commercial lending experience. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

· Represent institutional lenders in financing commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties from inception to closing.

· Draft commercial loan documents with experience in mezzanine, construction, balance sheet, and bridge loans.

· Perform review of organizational documents for borrowing entities.

· Review commitment letters, term sheets, fee letters, credit agreements, and ancillary loan documents.

· Oversee real estate secured finance transactions, workouts, and restructurings.

· Review title reports, surveys, and oversee title clearance.

· Handle lending and debt finance related to property acquisition, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, refinancing, and other transactions.

Qualifications:

· Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school

· Admitted to the New York State Bar

· 1-3 years of experience in Commercial Lending

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent organizational and prioritization skills

· Effective communication skills for client interactions

· Experience with Microsoft 365, specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
