Direct Counsel is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney to join a premier national law firm in Houston.

This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic Litigation & Regulatory Enforcement team representing clients in high-stakes commercial disputes. The role involves complex litigation matters, including shareholder and securities litigation, and provides meaningful client interaction and responsibility early on.

Key Responsibilities & Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience handling complex commercial litigation matters

  • At least 1 year of experience in securities litigation required

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

  • Experience drafting motions, managing discovery, and developing case strategy

  • Demonstrated commitment to client service and collaboration

  • Admission to the Texas Bar, or eligibility for admission

Location: Houston, TX
Compensation: The anticipated salary range is $260,000–$365,000, commensurate with experience and class year (2020–2022).
