Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney (4th–7th Year)

Locations: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Irvine, Los Angeles, New York, Palo Alto, San Diego, San Francisco, Washington, D.C.

Direct Counsel is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join a prestigious Am Law firm handling high-stakes, complex disputes for leading global clients. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside top-tier litigators on sophisticated matters spanning multiple industries and jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support trial teams in all phases of complex commercial litigation.

  • Draft dispositive and discovery motions, pleadings, and other filings.

  • Assist with depositions, discovery management, and case strategy.

  • Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on large-scale litigation matters.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from a top law school with a strong academic record.

  • 4–7 years of commercial litigation experience at a leading Am Law firm.

  • Federal clerkship and/or law journal experience strongly preferred.

  • Admitted to practice law and in good standing in the jurisdiction of the office where hired.

Compensation:
The expected annual salary range is $310,000–$435,000, commensurate with experience and location.
