This role offers the opportunity to take on significant responsibility in high-stakes, complex commercial disputes while collaborating with talented legal professionals across diverse practice areas. Duties:

  • Manage all phases of complex commercial litigation, including factual investigations, discovery, pleadings, depositions, motion practice, and settlement negotiations.

  • Represent clients in state and federal courts, with potential involvement in administrative proceedings and arbitrations.

  • Develop and implement case strategies, ensuring thorough preparation and strong advocacy at every stage.

  • Communicate directly with clients to provide strategic legal guidance and updates.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups and business units to address multifaceted legal issues.

  • Draft and argue motions, prepare witnesses, and participate in settlement discussions.

  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements and deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Active license to practice law in California or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

  • 6–8 years of commercial litigation experience, ideally gained at a reputable law firm.

  • Strong background managing discovery, depositions, and complex motion practice.

  • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.

  • Proven experience working directly with clients and handling settlement negotiations.

  • Demonstrated sound judgment, initiative, and the ability to thrive under pressure.

  • Strong academic credentials and dedication to professional excellence.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience handling cases in both state and federal courts.

  • Familiarity with administrative proceedings or arbitration.

  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary range: $225,000 – $260,000, commensurate with experience.
