Job Title: Community Engaged Research Specialist- Research Faculty I, 12 Month Salaried (Florida Institute for Child Welfare) Location: Tallahassee, FL Regular/Temporary: Regular Full/Part Time: Full-Time Job ID: 61452 Department Florida Institute for Child Welfare Responsibilities Responsible for leading innovative research and evaluation initiatives that advance community-based programs and policies in child welfare and intersecting fields. This faculty member serves as principal investigator on multiple simultaneous projects and provides strategic oversight for delegated efforts (in-house and outsourced). The role is designed to support special projects that address emerging needs, inform systems-level change, and catalyze new programmatic directions. The faculty member collaborates closely with fellow FICW faculty and contributes to the GROW Center’s research and evaluation portfolio as needed. May supervise a small team of research support staff, which may include faculty, A Subject matter expertise in one or more intersecting domains such as domestic violence, substance use, or mental/behavioral health; Experience conducting community-engaged research or working in partnership with community-based organizations; Experience supervisor or coordinating research teams.
