ALH Components Designer creates detailed plans for prefabricated wood products like roof trusses, floor trusses, and wall panels by converting customer blueprints into production drawings using specialized software.
Compensation:$22 - $30 hourly
Responsibilities:Key responsibilities include ensuring designs meet company standards, accurately reflecting blueprints, and communicating with production teams, customers, and sales staff to guarantee project accuracy. The role requires a strong understanding of construction, basic math, geometry, trigonometry, and the ability to read architectural and structural plans.
Qualifications:- Construction knowledge: A strong understanding of basic construction principles.
 - Technical skills: Proficiency in reading architectural and structural plans.
 - Math and geometry: Competency in basic mathematics, geometry, and trigonometry.
 - Software: Experience with Alpine truss software is a plus.
 - Problem-solving: Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and solve design problems.
 - Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
 - Computer literacy: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
