Concrete Foreman
Location: Mankato, MN
Salary: $35hr-$40hr
Position Overview
The Concrete Foreman will oversee concrete operations on various construction projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires leadership, technical expertise in concrete work, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate concrete operations on site to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Manage a team of concrete workers, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on job sites.
- Conduct quality control checks on concrete work to maintain high standards.
- Prepare and review project schedules, material requirements, and labor assignments.
- Communicate with project managers and other stakeholders to report on progress and address any issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Concrete Foreman or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of concrete techniques, tools, and safety practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience in civil construction projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with flatwork, structural concrete, and paving is desirable.
