Direct Counsel is proud to partner with an AmLaw 200 firm in its search for an Attorney with 2+ years of construction law experience to join the firm’s Construction Business Unit in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Ideal candidates will possess:
Courtroom experience, including file management, motion practice, and depositions
Strong advocacy, legal research, writing, and negotiation skills
Prior experience handling construction claims in litigation and/or arbitration
Familiarity with drafting and negotiating construction contracts for owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals (preferred)
Qualifications:
Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
A solid work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal service
A J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
Active license to practice law in Arizona
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range: $130,000 – $165,000 annually (based on a full-time schedule)
Annual discretionary bonus eligibility
Compensation is based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skillset, internal equity, and market conditions
