Constuction Project Manager at First Class Construction, LLC

Project Manager Local General Contractor looking to add a Project Manager to the team. T his opportunity is available for a highly motivated candidate who can jump in feet first . Must have an ownership attitude. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail oriented and experienced in the management of Commercial Construction projects of various types and sizes with exceptional customer-oriented skills. Must be able to take new leads and turn them into long term customers. Must have transportation. Paid Holidays and Vacation provided. Employer contribution towards Medical and Dental. Some travel may be required. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Scheduling of staff and subcontractors, outlining project plans, setting project goals/deadlines, and evaluating the performance of subcontractors and construction technicians. Ensures Safety guidelines are followed. Project Buyout. Comprehension and Interpretation of Contract Documents. Issue Subcontracts, Change Orders, etc. Maintain and manage project documentation files. Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Estimate preparation, and execution of multiple construction projects. Perform additional assignments per division management's direction. Comfortable with numbers and technology. Well organized and reliable. EXPERIENCE - A minimum 10 years of construction experience. - Understanding of OSHA regulations. - Knowledge of Commercial construction. - Background in sales/customer service preferred. - Knowledge of federal, state, and local building codes. - Willingness to work in a team environment. - Self-motivated and independent problem-solving ability. - Proficiency in documentation, organization, self-structure, and can work independently coupled with an ability to handle multiple tasks and personalities. - Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions. - Computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets within a Windows environment, RS Means.
