Summary of Position

The Consulting and Hotel Strategy Manager supports CTM's consulting initiatives by executing client projects, supporting supplier negotiations, and contributing to strategic program delivery across travel segments. This role plays a key part in managing preferred hotel programs, analyzing supplier proposals, and working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver measurable value to PSG's clients.

The Manager will support the Director, Consulting in driving revenue growth, building strong supplier and client relationships, and ensuring high-quality, data-informed consulting services. This role may include oversight of junior staff or coordination with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities and Duties

    Assist in implementing consulting strategies aligned with CTM's goals for client value and revenue optimization.
  • Support the execution of preferred hotel program projects, including RFP management, supplier analysis, and rate benchmarking.
  • Analyze bid responses and identify key negotiation opportunities to support client and company objectives.
  • Work within RFP tools and data platforms to evaluate rate proposals and provide insights to support negotiation strategies.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to implement hotel content preferencing within OBTs, GDS, and other platforms to ensure preferred properties and additional content driving program compliance, program value and traveller satisfaction.
  • Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, hotel suppliers and brand contacts to build relationships, facilitate negotiations and support client satisfaction.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering presentations, reporting, and consulting materials for client meetings.
  • Monitor industry trends, hotel openings, and market data to contribute to effective program strategies.
  • Represent PSG and CTM at client meetings, advisory boards, and industry functions as requested by CTM leadership.
  • Contribute to process improvements and consulting tools that increase team efficiency and project success.
  • Support adoption of tools and processes that enhance project delivery and data analysis.
  • May guide junior team members, contractors, or interns supporting consulting initiatives.
  • Provide feedback and support a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
  • Demonstrate CTM's core values in all client, partner, and internal interactions.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years' supplier sourcing, travel consultancy, and negotiation experience
  • TMC Experience recommended.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong organizational and customer service skills, as well as good written and oral communications, are a must to perform this job.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with solving issues or problems in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Experience in Cvent and/or other hotel RFP automated tools is preferred.
  • Sabre GDS knowledge is preferred.

Pay Range

USD $75,000.00 - USD $82,000.00 /Yr.
