*Overview*We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bankruptcy Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in consumer bankruptcy law.*Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney Qualifications** Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school* Active license to practice law in Florida* Member of the Bar of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida* Familiarity with e-filing via CM/ECF* Familiarity with Bestcase bankruptcy petition preparation software* Prior experience attending court hearings, confirmation hearings, and 341 meetings* At least 1 year of Bankruptcy experience* Spanish required*Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney Duties** Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings, including Chapter 7, and 13 filings* Draft and review legal documents such as petitions, motions, and pleadings with precision and clarity* Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court hearings and mediationsJob Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Paid time offExperience:* Bankruptcy: 1 year (Preferred)Language:* Spanish Fluently (Required)License/Certification:* Florida Bar Admission (Required)Work Location: In person
