Job Description
Alliance For Children offers both individual and group counseling services free of charge to confirmed victims of child abuse and their protective family members. Our clinical counseling staff work closely with clients to determine an individualized treatment program for each child. Counseling modalities utilized include Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through individual and group counseling and Child & Family Traumatic Stress Interventions.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy to agency clients per agreement.
 - Conduct individual and/or group therapy with clients according to agency and generally accepted treatment modalities.
 - Complete paperwork according to agency standards and time frames.
 
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
 - Licensure: Must have an LMFT-A, LMFT, LPC-A, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW license and be approved by the state of Texas to provide therapy.
 - Bilingual: English/Spanish.
 - Maintain malpractice insurance.
 - Two years of experience providing therapy to families and children.
 - Certification in an evidence-based treatment modality (EMDR, TF-CBT, CFTSI, etc.) preferred.
 - Experience working with child abuse victims.
