Direct Counsel represents an AmLaw 100 firm seeking a highly qualified Corporate Associate with life sciences licensing experience to join its Healthcare & Life Sciences Licensing Practice in the New York office. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge licensing matters in the biopharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
Key Responsibilities:Advise clients on licensing, collaboration, and strategic transactions in the healthcare and life sciences sectors.
Draft and negotiate complex licensing and commercial agreements, including research, development, and commercialization deals.
Collaborate with partners and cross-disciplinary teams on transactions involving healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies, and biotech innovators.
Provide strategic guidance on intellectual property, regulatory, and commercial issues affecting licensing arrangements.
Minimum of 3 years of life sciences licensing experience.
Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field, or prior biopharmaceutical industry experience, strongly preferred.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong academic credentials and the ability to manage complex transactions in a fast-paced environment.
