A top-10 AmLaw, global law firm with a world-class Life Sciences Practice is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its Corporate Practice Group. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with leading innovators in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals on transformative transactions that shape the future of healthcare.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing
- 1–3 years of substantive corporate transactional experience, with a background in Life Sciences
- Direct and applicable experience working at an AmLaw 100 firm strongly preferred
- Experience drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including licensing, collaboration, manufacturing, and supply agreements in the Life Sciences sector
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication, organization, and client management skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial and licensing agreements for clients in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries
- Advise clients on strategic transactions, collaborations, and partnerships in the Life Sciences sector
- Conduct due diligence and assist in the structuring and execution of M&A and financing transactions
- Collaborate across practice groups to deliver integrated, business-oriented legal solutions
- Stay current on regulatory and commercial trends impacting Life Sciences clients
- Manage multiple client engagements while maintaining a high standard of responsiveness and quality

- Annual base salary is expected to range from $225,000 – $260,000, as determined by experience, qualifications, and market factors
