Position Overview:
The firm is seeking a mid-level associate with at least four years of substantial experience in corporate transactions, with a strong focus on public and private M&A, including private equity. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements and related transaction documents and will have the ability to manage deals from inception through closing.
Responsibilities:
Lead and execute M&A transactions, including managing due diligence teams and closing processes.
Draft and negotiate acquisition agreements, ancillary documents, and other corporate materials.
Advise clients on complex corporate governance and transactional issues.
Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas and mentor junior associates.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of significant experience in M&A and private equity transactions.
Strong drafting and negotiation skills with deep knowledge of acquisition agreements.
Proven ability to handle complex transactions independently and as part of a team.
Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills.
Admission to the Florida Bar (or eligibility for admission) required.
