This position offers the opportunity to work on a dynamic mix of M&A, private equity, and financial restructuring matters. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of experience in corporate transactions, including M&A and general corporate matters, with additional exposure to restructuring, bankruptcy, or finance work.
This is an excellent role for an associate looking to develop deep experience in high-stakes, distressed transactions and complex deal structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead or support M&A transactions, including distressed and special situations deals
Advise clients on corporate governance, transaction structuring, and risk mitigation
Coordinate cross-functional deal teams and manage deal timelines
Support matters involving financial restructuring and bankruptcy
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school
4–5 years of relevant experience in M&A and corporate law, ideally with some restructuring or finance exposure
Strong academic credentials and law firm training required
Effective deal management and communication skills
Must be admitted and in good standing in the state of New York
Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $310,000 to $365,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
