We have expanded to eight retail locations, two production bakeries, and a thriving wholesale business. We are growing and constantly looking for passionate people to join our team. We are seeking a dynamic team member to fill our positions for Full-Time Pastry Packaging Clerk at our Rockville production center and warehouse (804 Hungerford Drive Rockville, MD 20850).

You will package orders in our warehouse so that wholesale customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition. We pack, bag and, label thousands of delicate pastries such as eclairs and tartes each day for delivery to various grocery stores and coffee shops throughout the DMV.

Shifts

• 7AM-3PM
• 8-10 Hour shift
• 5 Days a week including Saturday
• Tuesday-Saturday

Your responsibilities will be:

• Packaging eclairs, tartes and other delicate French pastries
• Follow packaging process, rules and food safety standards
• To shape cardboard boxes every day
• Put in crates of frozen products, which implies a presence in the freezers a few minutes.
• Complete logs and reports
• Follow directions
• Perform tedious repetitive tasks such as bagging, slicing, making boxes

Requirements

• Experience packaging food in a warehouse setting
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Open Availability including weekends
• Availability to work Holidays - Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc.
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation to work
• Ability to stand for 8 hours
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Knowledge of food handling is a plus
