We're looking for an experienced *Criminal Defense Attorney* who shares our values and is ready to hit the ground running.*What You'll Do*As a key part of our team, you will:* Represent clients in criminal and traffic matters from start to finish, including court hearings and trial* Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates, answer questions, and offer strategic legal advice* Negotiate with prosecutors, prepare motions, and build strong legal arguments* Draft legal documents such as motions, briefs, and letters* Maintain organized case files and meet critical deadlines* Collaborate with a supportive team of attorneys and legal assistants* Help market both your services and the firm's to prospective clients*What We're Looking For*We're not just looking to fill a role—we're looking for someone who genuinely wants to make an impact, grow within the firm, and serve clients with respect and care.*Required Qualifications:** J.D. from an accredited law school and current license with the *Washington State Bar* (or eligible for reciprocal admission)* 2+ years of experience in criminal defense or prosecution* Courtroom confidence and experience handling cases from intake through resolution or trial* Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills* Clear, empathetic communicator who is client-focused* Ability to manage your caseload independently while contributing to a team* Familiarity with Washington criminal and traffic laws, court rules, and procedures*Preferred But Not Required:** Bilingual in Spanish* Familiarity with traffic and DUI defense* Prior experience managing a full misdemeanor caseload*What We Offer** *Base salary* of $80,000-$120,000 per year* *Generous performance bonuses** Health, dental, and vision insurance* 401(k) with matching* Paid time off* Supportive and collaborative work culture* Opportunity to grow with the firm and build your practice*To Apply*Please submit the following:* Resume* Cover letter* Writing sample (PDF format)Job Type: Full-timePay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
