Job Description

Executive Corporate Chef – Multi-Brand Hospitality Group

Location: Monroe, Louisiana
Company: Five Senses Hospitality Group
Brands Included: Restaurant Cotton, Planters Gastropub, Eli, Aron’s Diner, Cookies & Cream, Okaloosa, and the upcoming Gunpowder Hotel + Pioneer Restaurant

Five Senses Hospitality Group is an award-winning, multi-brand restaurant and hotel group rooted in the rich culinary traditions of the Louisiana Delta. Our flagship brands have been featured in Garden & Gun, Louisiana Cooking, Backroads, Bayou Life, and recognized as some of the region’s top dining destinations. We are seeking an experienced, creative, and operationally minded Executive Corporate Chef to lead the culinary vision and kitchen systems across all units.

About the Role

The Executive Corporate Chef will oversee culinary standards, menu development, costing, food quality, and training programs for a diverse set of concepts—from upscale Southern dining to hotel restaurant operations to high-volume gastropubs. This is a corporate leadership role with direct influence over multiple kitchens and the opportunity to build scalable systems, elevate consistency, and drive brand-defining food experiences.

This role partners closely with each unit’s General Manager and reports directly to the Director of Operations and the Owner. While supporting all kitchen teams, the Executive Corporate Chef does not directly hire or fire staff except in exceptional situations, focusing instead on systems, training, development, and culinary leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead menu development and standardization across multiple concepts

  • Oversee costing, pricing strategies, and food margin performance

  • Source vendors, negotiate purchasing, and maintain product quality

  • Build training systems, recipe decks, and kitchen onboarding materials

  • Ensure consistent execution across all units through routine visits and chef mentorship

  • Partner with General Managers on kitchen operations, workflow, and quality control

  • Collaborate with Director of Operations on initiatives, forecasting, and brand growth

  • Support new restaurant openings and concept development, including the Gunpowder Hotel

  • Uphold brand standards, culinary identity, and food safety practices

Ideal Candidate
  • 5–10+ years’ experience as an Executive Chef, Corporate Chef, or Culinary Director

  • Background in multi-unit operations, boutique hotel kitchens, or high-volume independent restaurants

  • Strong understanding of Southern, Delta, and modern American cuisine

  • Skilled in costing, systems-building, vendor sourcing, and staff development

  • Exceptional leadership presence, communication skills, and collaborative mindset

  • Passion for creativity paired with operational discipline

Why Join Us
  • Opportunity to lead culinary innovation for a respected regional hospitality group

  • Diverse concepts that allow creative freedom

  • Rapidly expanding brand portfolio

  • High visibility within a company known for excellence, authenticity, and design-driven hospitality

  • Competitive compensation package with growth opportunities

To Apply: Please include a resume, references, and portfolio (sample menus, photos, or projects). We welcome creative chefs committed to craft, consistency, and shaping the future of Delta hospitality.
