Job Description Summary / TWC Summary:Under direct supervision performs advanced cleaning procedures to maintain interior of buildings on the University campus.
Essential Duties Summary:- Plans, organizes and executes daily/weekly/monthly time schedules for cleaning classrooms, offices, public areas, hallways, stairways, labs, walls, floors, lecture rooms, carpet, office furniture and exterior entrances of assigned buildings.
- Operates cleaning equipment such as buffer, burnisher, pressure washer, wet vac, shampoo and scrubbing machine. Strips, waxes, and buffs floors to maintain cleanliness of the buildings.
- Cleans restrooms and restocks paper and soap.
- Sweeps, mops, dusts, washes windows, vacuums carpets, polishes wood/metal, disinfects rooms and removes trash from building.
- Maintains daily record of cleaning supplies used in assigned area.
- Cleans and performs routine maintenance to custodial equipment.
- Maintains and organizes inventory of cleaning supplies in the custodial closet.
- Reports maintenance problems in assigned building to supervisor.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Hiring Range:$15.50-$19.76
Education:High School diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent education preferred.

Working/Environmental Conditions:- Working conditions involves some exposure to moderate risk of accident and require following basic safety precautions.
- Physical demands include moderate physical activity that includes prolonged standing and/or walking, handling moderate weight objects and/or using or carrying equipment.
- Bending, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
