Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour Work 4 days = 40 hours/week = Rest of Week OFF! Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of our plant per the Master Cleaning Schedule, with a focus on floors, ceilings, grounds, and common areas, ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Essential Functions: 1. General Cleaning Tasks: Sweep, dust, vacuum, mop, scrub, wash, and stock supplies as per the Master Cleaning Schedule. Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and gowning areas. Maintain cleanliness in employee cafeteria, workspaces, offices, labs, production areas, lobbies, and common areas. Remove trash and recyclables daily. Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects. Notify management of deficiencies or repair needs. 2. Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness around the building and parking lot, including spreading ice-melting compounds on sidewalks as needed. Provide light maintenance duties, such as painting and filling machine oils. Assist in organizing and maintaining storage areas; inventory cleaning supplies and materials, notifying the manager of low levels. 3. Safety and Reporting: Report safety, sanitation, and fire hazards immediately to the manager or maintenance staff. Maintain janitorial equipment and tools, including powered floor scrubbers. Assist in maintaining an inventory of cleaning chemicals and ensure proper storage. 4. Documentation and Special Projects: Complete and maintain required cleaning documents, logs, and records following Good Documentation Practices (GDPs). Undertake special projects and cross-train to serve as backup for other custodians. 5. Additional Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications, Education, Skills, and/or Experience Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Minimum 2 years of custodial/janitorial experience in a food/beverage or regulated manufacturing facility. Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation chemicals and their proper use. Experience using personal protective equipment and powered cleaning equipment, aerial lifts. Ability to work independently and stay on task with minimal supervision. Strong team player with a willingness to complete daily tasks as needed. Frequently required to stand, walk, talk, hear, reach above shoulders, use hands to handle or operate equipment, kneel, crouch, and use feet to operate machinery. Occasionally required to lift, carry, move, push or pull items up to 50 pounds, bend at the waist, and climb or balance.
