We’re seeking a detail-driven Customer Operations Specialist with *strong* SAP experience to support order management and customer care for a leading manufacturing and chemical organization. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a fast-paced, relationship-focused environment and enjoys digging into complex problems to deliver high-quality solutions.

What You’ll Do

- Manage a portfolio of 50–100 customer accounts, serving as a key point of contact for order fulfillment, issue resolution, and relationship management.
- Use SAP and various analytical tools to perform material availability checks, pricing reviews, reporting, and customer support functions.
- Handle customer communication primarily via email, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Process and manage customer orders from entry through delivery, including expediting, returns, back-order monitoring, samples, zero-dollar orders, and consignment requests.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams across Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Planning, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and support customer needs.
- Investigate and document Non-Conformance Management (NCM) cases and coordinate corrective actions.
- Support import/export order activities, working with global teams to maintain clear communication and timely updates.
- Troubleshoot order errors, identify root causes, and correct issues within Master Data to prevent recurrence.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and assist with onboarding and mentoring new team members.

What You’ll Bring

- 2–5 years of customer service, customer operations, order management, or supply chain experience (recent graduates with strong internships will be considered).
- SAP transactional experience is required (ERP experience in a manufacturing or chemical environment strongly preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage detailed, time-sensitive work.
- Strong communication abilities with comfort interacting across multiple departments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or Salesforce is a plus.
- A background or education in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related fields is required.
