The University Advisement Center is looking to hire a Customer Service Specialist II to staff the front desk operations at our Clarkston campus.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Provide information about departmental policies, procedures, and regulations to students, faculty, staff, and the general public who may come to the office. 
  • Coordinate phone traffic for the office
  • Supervise student assistants
  • Schedule appointments for staff
  • Coordinate the petition process to include data tracking
  • Inventory and order office supplies as necessary
  • Take minutes at staff meetings
  • Coordinate use of office conference rooms
  • Coordinate morning and afternoon mail and faxes; send out to designated mailboxes
  • Create monthly reports to include monthly traffic to office, petitions, phone, and academic forms
  • Assist with any special projects
  • These positions are integral to these offices running smoothly.  It is expected that the successful candidate will open and close the office each day. 



    Qualifications

    Minimum Hiring Qualifications:
    High school diploma or GED and two years of customer service, administrative or office experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
