Cyber/Data/Privacy Litigation Attorney (Associate) at Direct Counsel

Direct Counsel is seeking a midlevel associate (4th-6th year) with experience in litigation and/or regulatory enforcement investigations involving privacy and data security matters. This is an opportunity to join an award-winning Cyber/Data/Privacy practice with a strong international presence.

• Represent clients in regulatory investigations involving consumer protection issues (State AG, FTC, and other regulatory agencies).
• Defend privacy and data security class actions, including cases involving:
  • Stored Communications Act
  • Wiretapping claims
  • Unfair and deceptive trade practices
  • Data breach class actions
• Engage directly with clients and lead significant projects.

• 4-6 years of litigation or regulatory investigation experience in privacy and data security matters.
• Strong academic background from a nationally recognized law school.
• Ability to manage complex legal issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong technical fluency and analytical skills.
• Exceptional writing and advocacy skills.

• Salary Range: $310,000 - $390,000 (Final offer based on experience and location).
