JOB SUMMARY
The Cybersecurity Project Coordinator serves as a strategic operations lead within the Benedict College Center for Cybersecurity, supporting the design, implementation, and evaluation of high impact initiatives across K-12, undergraduate, and community sectors. This role is central to the Center's mission of advancing digital equity, workforce readiness, and institutional excellence. This position will manage complex projects, cultivate stakeholder relationships, and ensure measurable outcomes aligned with grant objectives, compliance standards, and student-centered goals. This class works within a general outline of work to be performed and develops work methods and sequences under general supervision and reports to the Director, Center for Cybersecurity.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (flexible hours required for events, training, and outreach).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Project Design and Execution
- Architect and manage detailed project plans for camps, certifications, workshops, and internship pipelines.
- Develop logic models and timelines that align with grant deliverables and institutional priorities.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across faculty, staff, students, and external partners.
- Monitor project milestones, budgets, and resource allocations using project management tools.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Serve as liaison between the Center and internal/external stakeholders, including school districts, industry partners, and advisory council members.
- Draft and disseminate branded communications: proposals, memos, reports, meeting minutes, and outreach materials.
- Present project updates and strategic insights to leadership, funders, and community audiences.
Operational Oversight
- Coordinate logistics for cybersecurity camps, training sessions, and credentialing efforts.
- Supervise student interns, volunteers, and professional staff involved in Center programming.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, cybersecurity protocols, and grant requirements.
- Support procurement and budget tracking for technology, equipment, and instructional materials.
Continuous Improvement and Reporting
- Implement feedback loops and post-event evaluations to refine programming.
- Maintain dashboards and monthly reports that track participation, outcomes, and impact metrics.
- Contribute to strategic planning and advisory council documentation.
Other Duties
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM WORK:
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology or a closely related field; advanced degree or cybersecurity certification preferred.
- A minimum five (5) years of experience in project coordination, preferably in education, technology, or nonprofit sectors.
- Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting for grant-funded initiatives.
- Demonstrated success managing multi-stakeholder projects with tight deadlines and measurable outcomes.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, utilizing Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams and Zoom; familiarity with SharePoint and cybersecurity tools (e.g., Kali Linux) preferred.

- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, compliance standards, and emerging technologies.
- Experience in educational programming, digital literacy, or workforce development.
- Ability to communicate the Center's mission with clarity and enthusiasm to diverse audiences.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires sedentary work that involves walking, standing, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling some of the time. Requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and the ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force on a recurring basis or routine keyboard operations.

Work environment risks exposure to no known environmental hazards.
