Are you looking for a work environment which encourages teamwork and where you are respected, supported, challenged, and can grow and advance your career? If your answer is “yes,” you should join T-Mobile’s All-Star Legal Team!

The Policy Strategy & Analytics team is hiring a Data Analyst to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights. You’ll partner with data scientists and data engineers across T-Mobile to aid in the company’s advocacy to government audiences. This is a hands-on role for someone who can translate policy and business needs into understandable metrics, sharp visuals, and persuasive recommendations.

What you’ll do in your role.
  • Frame business and policy questions, define data requirements, and write great SQL to pull exactly what’s needed from Snowflake.
  • Use statistical techniques to find trends, quantify impact, and separate signal from noise; write short, executive-ready takeaways that drive decisions.
  • Create clean, reliable dashboards and one-pagers (Power BI) and lightweight prototypes/notebooks in Databricks for fast iteration.
  • Triage and execute requests across multiple teams; set expectations; ship analyses that are right, readable, and on time.
  • Profile, validate, and document data; work with data engineers on rules, remediation, and source-of-truth alignment.
  • Snowflake + Databricks + Azure Blob; version with GitLab; diagram flows in Lucid; use AI models to speed exploration, QA, and first-drafts.
  • Run exploratory analyses to surface trends and insights that guide action.
  • Set up data-quality checks so leaders can trust the insights.
  • Present findings to senior audiences with clarity and confidence.

The experience you’ll bring:
  • 2-4 years doing hands-on data analysis in SQL-driven environments.
  • SQL fluency with relational data; comfort joining large, messy tables and optimizing queries.
  • Visualization skills in Power BI; able to design executive-ready dashboards.
  • Applied stats (e.g., trend analysis, segmentation, basic inference) and strong data storytelling.
  • Python in notebooks (Databricks preferred) for wrangling, analysis, and reproducibility.
  • Cloud data familiarity (Azure/Snowflake/Databricks).
  • Clear writing and presenting to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Agile habits and strong organization in a fast, cross-functional setting.

Preferred:
  • Telecom or public-sector exposure
  • Geospatial awareness (QGIS)
  • Prompt engineering/AI-assisted analysis
  • Any of: CAP, Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, or SnowPro Advanced: Data Analyst.

How you’ll succeed here:
  • You bias toward understandable metrics and crisp narratives that help leaders act.
  • You sweat the data details, and you know when “good enough” is the right call.
  • You enjoy context switching and can move from quick ad-hoc asks to short, focused projects.
  • You’re team-oriented, partnering with data scientists and data engineers so you can maximize analytic output.

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
