Direct Counsel is partnering with an AmLaw 200 firm to recruit a senior-level litigation attorney for their California offices.
Requirements:
Minimum of 6+ years of litigation experience
Active California Bar license
Preferred Experience & Skills:
Strong knowledge of state, federal, and international data privacy laws, including CCPA and GDPR
Experience defending:
Data breach class actions
Privacy torts and statutory claims (IRPA, BIPA, VPPA, CIPA)
Pixel tracking and wiretap cases
Extensive trial preparation and courtroom experience, including:
File management responsibility
Motion practice
Depositions
Exceptional advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation abilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range: $190,000 – $230,000 annually, based on a full-time schedule
