The Waverly Inn has developed one of New York’s most beloved places to eat and drink for the past 20 years. Most importantly, we believe in the power of treating all our guests like regulars and providing unforgettable experiences.
We are currently looking for a daytime manager.
The Daytime manager role is responsible for guest communication, booking, and general office management weekdays, with weekend management of active service during brunch, reporting directly to the general manager.
The position is ideal for candidates with experience in reservations, scheduling, or guest facing roles that work with reservations that want to expand their skills towards restaurant management
Immediate consideration given to candidates with the following qualities:
- Minimum 1-year experience in high volume restaurant or hotel environment, upscale dining experience preferred & Applicants must be local to the NYC metro area.
- Strong working knowledge of reservations platforms such as Resy, Open Table, Preno or Opera
- Candidates must be excellent communicators between guests and management team. Microsoft Office and Google applications used every day. Basic working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel required
This is a hourly position with a set 9 - 5:00 pm schedule, including weekends. We are only looking for candidates with open weekend availability through 2025 at this time.
