LABOR & EMPLOYMENT ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

An international AmLaw 50-ranked law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment (L&E) Associate Attorney to join their thriving Washington, DC office. This is an exciting opportunity to work on sophisticated employment litigation and counseling matters for a diverse, high-profile client base.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
- Active Bar Admission in the District of Columbia, in good standing.
- 3–5 years of substantive experience in L&E law/litigation matters.
- Litigation Experience: Drafting pleadings, managing discovery, negotiating with opposing counsel, and arguing motions in court.
- Demonstrated experience leading case management, with the ability to handle complex legal matters independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Soft Skills: Strong research, writing, analysis, communication, and advocacy skills are essential, as well as a meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in complex L&E matters and litigation, providing strategic and practical advice on complex issues.
- Provide strategic counsel on L&E disputes and compliance matters.
- Lead case management from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing for trial.
- Work closely with clients to develop innovative legal strategies and solutions.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to deliver high-quality legal services.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $260,000-$365,000 annually, as determined by experience and market factors.
Bonus Eligibility.
